Montessori School at Emory is seeking a current trainee or recent graduate to join our team at MSAE. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work as an auxiliary guide in an AMI Montessori Lower Elementary classroom for the Fall 2025 semester (August – December), with the possibility of extending the position to full-year employment.
The position involves learning from and collaborating with a seasoned Montessori teacher in a lower elementary class of 27 students. While the lead Montessori teacher is on maternity leave, the chosen candidate will lead the classroom (from October through December) with the support of a full-time assistant, who holds an elementary assistant certification, and a Montessori-trained Pedagogical Support Coordinator.
MSAE is an established AMI-accredited Montessori school near beautiful downtown Decatur, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta city limits. Our classrooms are generously equipped, and our central location affords many cultural, outdoor, and historic Going Out opportunities. The school serves children from 15 months to 14 years and our guides and Montessori-trained administrators share a deep appreciation for the ideals of Montessori pedagogy in service of the whole child. The atmosphere is congenial and professional with an appreciative and enthusiastic parent body.
